“Tan Thong Huat Company Limited”, which means in Thai as “Tan family will prosper together” is the first company of Phornprapha family.
Founded by Dr. Chumpol Phornprapha grandfather and his father in year 1919 (100 years ago).
The company operated business of Steel Trading, Used Cars Retailers, Motorcycle and Automobile Dealers, its root of Phornprapha family formally known in Siam.
The first office building located on Song-wad Road at the heart of China Town in Bangkok.
SP International Company Limited was established on 29 March 1966 with a registered capital of 1 Million Baht by “Dr. Chumpol Phornprapha”, the founder.
The company name “SP” originated from the abbreviation name of “Mr. Sindh Phornprapha”, it is Dr. Chumpol way to show his respect and gratitude to his beloved father.
The word “International” is his vision to operate the company and expand the business internationally.
In 1966, SPI Company limited first started with only 9 employees with registered capital of 1 Million Baht.
